3M™ Microfinishing Film Rolls are micron graded aluminium oxide resin, bonded to a 3 ml or 5 ml polyester film backing. With a closed coat abrasive surface that is coated with a dry lubricant to resist loading, it is also used for performing the finishing process in industrial cylindrical parts and polishing engine components such as camshafts and crankshafts.
